Dorothy is an advocate, mediator and a lawyer by training. She is the protection and security management officer at the secretariat. Her tasks entail management of the protection department which has a protection desk that supports Human Rights Defenders at risk to receive and access protection services through the protection fund and referral to other partners. The department also entails coordination of the HRD Referral Network, protection service providers and managing the HRD database. Dorothy is passionate about alternative dispute resolution; mediation, reconciliation, arbitration, life coaching and legal psychology.
