SUMMARY OF THE TASK:
3.0. OVERALL OBJECTIVE:
The overall objective of the task is to review the current HR processes, develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
4.0. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
The specific objectives of the assignment are:
Review the current HR processes
- Develop HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Support implementation of HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
- Develop and implement a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
- Review and revise the current HR manual and orient staff on the revised manual
- Review the HR files and work with the HR designate to ensure all files updated
- Review the payroll and benefits program
- Develop an HR database and orient the HR designate to effectively manage it
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
- Conduct individual staff engagements and develop motivation strategies
- Review the legal compliance throughout human resource management
6.0. KEY DELIVERABLES:
The consultant is expected to produce the following:
- An inception report that provides details on the methods and tools to be used including the work plan with clear time frames.
- Review report of the current HR processes
- Developed HR strategies that align with the business strategy
- Revised performance appraisal system
- Revised HR manual
- Staff orientation report on the HR manual
- Updated HR staff files
- Reviewed payroll and benefits database
- HR database
- Training needs assessment report
- Motivation strategy
- Overall Implementation report highlighting the developed HR strategies
